Let's do this!

Okay Gents,

This is the place to ask questions regarding your reading and it is a place to encourage one another.

I am so grateful to be in this season with you men. The task before us is doable. Not by our own power but by the Lords. He will encourage us and we will encourage one another.

July 1, kick off day. Let's do this.

Gentlemen, Gentlemen.....

Gentlemen, Gentlemen....

Wow this is an exciting time for Man Cave. As you know we recently finished our study of the book "Living the Questions in John". It is time for new blood and fresh perspectives. Please continue your invitations to men who are within you sphere of influence. Ensure I have their contact info once they confirm intent to attend.

30000 Foot perspective. "The Hope" video http://www.thehopeproject.com/ will give us the single story revealed in scripture. We will watch this over two Sundays, June 28 and July 5. Please make this a priority. If you cannot attend I encourage you to watch the video at the link provided above.

Read the bible in 90 days? Are you crazy. In short, I've heard that a lot directed toward me in this life. In this instance the answer is definitely not crazy. 12 pages a day is all we ask. You can do this! With the men of our group praying for you and reading their 12 pages a day you can expect great revelation from God as well as and energy and focus given to you by the Holy Spirit.

We are going to purchase either a CD collection or an MP3 CD for our groups use. If you spend an hour in traffic a day this is one alternative way to complete your daily task. Stay focused on the road. We need cash money for this so we will discuss this at the next group meeting. Please be prepared to give in however the Lord leads you.

As you look to the future and the great task of reading the entire bible in 90 days consider Abraham story.

"Hebrews 11:8-10
8 By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his
inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. 9 By
faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived
in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise. 10 For he
was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God."

Can we agree in faith that reading the bible is in the perfect will of our God. Knowing this should allow you to step to the edge, throw your arms out and jump into His will.

Blessings for now Brothers,

Paul

Gents, I agree with Scott, good times last weekend.

In reference to the upcoming events he mentioned, here is the 90 day reading plan (in case you didn't get one or lose it). Click on it to see it larger. Also, you can find out more about the program by clicking here.

I can't wait to go through this with you guys. I know God has some good things in store for us as we get into His Word.

Eat Meat; Praise God

Last Sunday's dinner and prayer at the Man Cave were great. I think we made new friends and lifted up all that were present and unable to attend.
